What’s in store?

Hello and welcome to Gerard’s Gazette, a weekly newsletter that aims to offer you a roundup of selected stories from Goa in the week gone by, the news behind the news offering context and insight into what’s happening in Goa, why it matters and why you should care.

This weekly newsletter, that’ll drop via email and on the site every weekend, hopes to enlighten you about the goings on in Goa, India’s smallest state, with a perspective that takes a step back from the daily news cycle, and offers insight into why the state’s major players are doing what they do.

Why subscribe?

Through the newsletter I hope to take you through not just some of the work I do, but also that of other respectable journalists as well as offering links to other publications, podcasts, video interviews and events where politics, current events, books, literature, culture and festivals are discussed with a view to offer a comprehensive take on the state’s landscape.

Hoping you can join me on this journey. Subscribers get full access to the newsletter and publication archives.
