It's the usual ploy of the govt to cause a delay till the 11th hour so that it increases their bargaining power. More the delay, more the money in their pockets. As for the organisers having the event in Goan means they have fewer vultures to feed.

What no Goan is asking for is a well thought out event management policy, guidelines and rules for this state. This would help boost positive tourism as well as stabilize the uncertainty of the business (ease fo doing business). Every civilized Tourism destination has a robust event plan and policy. Why not Goa?

Fully agree that the organisers of Sunburn will take advantage of the proximity of the Mopa International airport as it will not only bring in tourists and lovers of Sunburn from across the country and maybe international tourists too, it's only a matter of time before Dhargal and its inhabitants will have to face the consequences of development.

All this basically means the Goans do not have tourism on their termes and the government of the day is actively connivance with interested parties. Goans are paying the price for their shirt sighted approach of the past. Tourism uncontrolled destroys.
